Part of a $2.7 million to support northern Victorian dairy farmers (BMIN19002807), announced 31 May 2019. The package included $320,000 for small business financial counselling within North East and North West Rural Financial Counselling Services (RFCS). The counsellors will support small non-agricultural businesses impacted by ongoing dry conditions and pressures within the dairy industry, who are ineligible for RFCS support.
