Contract - CW34211

The contract will see the supplier investigate:

• Reasonable evidence-based educational adjustments for students with disabilities and additional needs. This will inform the Department’s development of guidance for schools on reasonable adjustments and supports for students with disabilities and additional needs.

Quality evidence of educational needs for students with disabilities and additional needs. This will inform the development of an Evidence Framework which will provide the evidence sources (e.g. assessments, reports, data) to substantiate ratings for different types of functional needs (e.g. learning and applying knowledge, communication, mobility) as determined in the Functional Needs Assessment (FNA). The Department will use these evidence sources to ensure consistency and accuracy of FNA ratings for different students and contexts. Confidence in the consistency and accuracy of ratings will enable the Department to use the FNA to ensure equity in resourcing.
