The Victorian Electoral Commission (VEC) is seeking to select a prime contractor to provide mail house services for State and local council elections, by-elections, Statutory and commercial elections and polls. Services include the insertion of ballot materials, election notices, enrolment and election advertising materials into envelopes provided by the VEC. Services include ink jetting or laser printing name and address details on ballot envelopes and information leaflets, attaching VEC barcodes and Australia Post DPIDs on items to be mailed. The VEC’s business is conducted in a high profile, mission critical environment. The VEC, therefore, is committed to using only organisations that can provide evidence of extensive experience in their field of work, a proven record in the provision of accurate, reliable and expeditious mail house services with a strong corporate commitment to excellence and a demonstrated ability to complete tasks within prescribed tight time lines. The contractor must have the capacity to deliver all services to the specified standards. Excellent planning capability in the delivery of complex services within tight, often legislated timeframes is also required. |
