Contract for the provision of railway passenger services on rail infrastructure using rolling stock leased to the Franchisee by the Director of Public Transport.

Extensions of term:

• The Director of Public Transport has the option to extend the period of the franchise agreement by up to 3 years.
• A subsequent term of up to 7 years may be negotiated, and a subsequent franchise agreement may be negotiated in respect of that period.
