CarbonNet is part of the Victorian Department of Economic Development, Jobs, Transport and Resources and is investigating the potential for establishing a carbon capture and storage network in the Gippsland Basin, Victoria, Australia.

CarbonNet is considering acquiring a marine 3D seismic survey in summer 2017-18 and, if it does so, it will need a person or organisation to provide advice in its dealings with a Seismic Management company that will procure and manage the survey on CarbonNet's behalf and with the vessel contractor.

The scope of the Seismic Advisory Services project will include:

• providing advice to CarbonNet in its relationship with the seismic management company and the vessel contractor
• providing independent advice on documentation and recommendations from the seismic management company during planning, tendering, operational and post-survey phases of the seismic program
• providing advice on the performance seismic management company and the vessel contractor
• providing advice in relation to its role CarbonNet in the seismic acquisition program
• assisting in close-out and reporting

The advisor will not have a supervisory role with the seismic manager or the vessel contractor.
