The VEC is seeking to select a Prime Contractor to supply the services of a mail house to undertake the insertion of ballot materials, election notices, enrolment and election advertising materials into envelopes provided by the VEC. This would include ink jetting name and address details, attaching barcodes and Australia Post DPIDs.

The VEC, therefore, is committed to using only organisations that can provide evidence of extensive experience in their field of work, with a strong corporate commitment to excellence, high levels of quality assurance and a demonstrated ability to complete tasks within immovable time lines.
Organisations considering tendering for this project must have a sound financial basis, a proven record in the provision of highly confidential, high quality mail house services including printing personal details on voter information products, printing personal details and scannable barcodes on envelopes or letters from data provided in flat file format, folding and inserting up to 10 items into an outer envelope and making arrangements with Australia Post for lodgement of mail.
