The Department of Human Services is seeking tenders from organisations with trust fund administration skills and expertise in financial management to manage a Residents' Trust Fund (RTF). The RTF holds funds of persons with a disability residing in Disability Accommodation who require staff assistance with the handling of their money.
The Disability Services Division has overall responsibility for the Residents' Trust Fund and must record and report on the entitlement of each of the approximately 3000 contributors to the RTF and every transaction that takes place within each individual's account.
The successful tenderer will be required to work in partnership with the Disability Services Division to develop and enhance the Residents' Trust Fund and associated systems and procedures, as well as assuming responsibility for key RTF tasks including the maintenance of individual's balances, funds transfers and reporting.
