The objective of this project is to select an Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) product that will support all of the integration requirements of the Whole of Health ICT Strategy. This strategy is being managed and implemented as part of the HealthSMART program.

The ICT Strategy entails the replacement of much of the ICT across the Victorian Public Health System (VPHS). This program will involve the implementation of a number of core business support applications, which will be managed as a central shared service. Critical to the success of this program will be the integration of the central shared applications with the many local applications that are distributed in agencies across the State.

The EAI product must be available for use by all DHS health agencies across the State of Victoria, as well as in the DHS shared services data centres that will support the agencies.
