Requests for Tender are sought from a suitably qualified consultant for the position of Victorian Electronic Records Strategy (VERS) Program Director.
VERS is the State of Victoria's solution to the problem of electronic record keeping for long-term preservation.
The Victorian Government has provided further funding to continue the work of the VERS Centre of Excellence established in August 2003 to promote and assist the rollout of the VERS solution to the Victorian Government sector.
The VERS Program Director will have key accountability for the overrall delivery of the progams of the Centre. The objective of this Request for Tender (RFT) process is to engage a suitable consultant for a two (2) year period (with the option to renew for a further year).
RFT's must be submitted as per the Form of Tender and demonstrate the following:
- Knowlegde and expertise in the management of electronic records coupled with a thorough understanding of the VERS strategy and current VERS projects,
- proven successful leadership and managerial skills,
- highly developed analytical and conceptual skills, including demonstrated ability to quickly assimilate new concepts and information and to understand complex issues, and
- excellent communication and presentation skills.
