Major Projects Victoria invites registrations of interest for the design, supply and performance demonstration of the storage ring quadrupole, sextupole and corrector magnet power supplies for the Australian Synchrotron. There are magnet power supplies required for 84 quadrupoles, 98 sextupoles and 126 corrector coils. The contract will include the delivery of the power supplies, an instrumentation and controls system, equipment racks and will also include the interfaces to a PLC based interlocks protection system.

Successful registrants will be invited to submit a tender in late April 2004, with contract award scheduled for early August 2004.
