The Royal Victorian Eye & Ear Hospital (RVEEH) is currently in the process of tendering for a contractor(s) to provide Hospital Support Services within East Melbourne.   The Contract will be for a period of 3 years with the option of 2 further annual extensions.

Required services include;

a) Food Services
b) Cleaning, Ward Support & Distribution
c) Grounds & Gardens
d) Security & Ancillary Services

Prospective tenderers may tender for individual bundled services as described above, or as a single source Prime Vendor Contract.      

Notes of interest should be sent together with a non-refundable fee of $150 (for the reproduction of these documents) and should be sent to the address below by Monday, 2 February 2004.   A Request for Tender (RFT) will be issued to interested parties and should be completed in full and submitted on or before     Thursday, 4 March 2004.   Tenderers will also be required to attend a site visit on Friday, 6 February 2004 (Mandatory).

Companies will be required to demonstrate their technical experience, past experience of similar service provision and financial ability to undertake these services.   Evaluation of the Tender will enable the Eye & Ear to draw up a shortlist of candidates, who will be invited to provide a presentation, on how these services will be provided efficiently and within prescribed criteria.
