Eucalypt Seed Collection

Expressions of Interest No: 201623

The Department of Sustainability and Environment (DSE) seeks Expressions of Interest for the collection, preparation and delivery of eucalypt seed capsule material within the Otway Forest Management Area. The seed will be used to regenerate State Forest following timber harvesting operations.

Collectors will be paid the agreed rates per kilogram (as specified on the information sheet), depending on the density of the crop and species, for seed dried and extracted by the Department. DSE Officers will determine crop density.

The method of seed collection will be ground based from fallen trees within a harvested coupe.

Expressions of Interest are to be placed in a sealed envelope, clearly marked ‘EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST NO: 201623 -EUCALYPT SEED COLLECTION’ and forwarded to the Tender Box, Department of Sustainability and Environment, 83 Gellibrand Street, Colac 3250.

Expressions of Interest close 2.00pm Friday 15 October 2004.
