The Classroom Resources Project consists for five exciting and innovative resources. The first component of the Classroom Resources Project was Sports of the Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth Games. This tender is for the Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth Games Post-compulsory Resource, the second component of the Classroom Resources Project. The successful contractor for Part 1 of this project will develop materials in a form suitable for publication on CD-ROM with some accompanying print material. The successful contractor for Part 2 of this project will publish the materials in both print and CD-ROM formats.

The resource will consist of:
• a CD-ROM which contains three sections, relating to VCE, VET and VCAL. Each section will identify linkage between the relevant studies or programs and the Commonwealth Games as well as providing suggestions for classroom activities.
• three pamphlets promoting the content of the CD-ROM
• accompanying print material, which provides details about the content and use of the CD-ROM.
