CN0554 SWEP Channel Liner Materials Supply (WW2024)
LMW is seeking to engage suitably qualified suppliers to provide channel liner materials for the LMW Sunraysia Water Efficiency Project.
SWEP Project Overview
The Sunraysia Water Efficiency Program (SWEP) is a $37.9 million program of works to improve the efficiency and longevity of the channel network in the Mildura, Red Cliffs and Merbein districts through undertaking works to reduce losses and remove redundant assets. The scope of works includes lining existing channels, replacing channels with pipelines, rationalising redundant meter outlets, and installing new flowmeters on stock and domestic services. Construction works will start in 2023 and be completed over a two-year period.
Project Specific Information
LMW is seeking to engage supplier/s to provide channel liner materials for Winter Works 2024.
There is approximately 20km of channel to be lined in WW2024 across three channels:
- Mildura K channel, downstream of the Dewry Regulator (approx. 8 km).
- Mildura L channel, downstream of the existing lined section at Lengs Regulator (approx. 5 km)
- Merbein channel, being the unlined Wargan channel (approx. 6 km)
This tender has been split into two packages:
- RFT Package A: supply of liner suitable for concrete surfaces (Mildura channels, approx. 13km)
- RFT Package B: supply of liner suitable for earthen surfaces (Merbein channel, approx. 6 km)
Suppliers may bid for one or both packages. LMW may award the works to one or multiple suppliers.
The supply of the items/goods will require but is not necessarily limited to the following:
- Compliance with LMW specifications, data-sheets and drawings
- Factory acceptance testing and Site acceptance testing
- Quality assurance documentation prior to delivery to site of units
- After sales product support
- Onsite rectification/support of any product faults where/when required
- Compliance with Australian Standards and all other applicable standards
- Approval from LMW SWEP for any deviations prior to modifications
- Any inclusions or exclusions please clarify in your submission
- Delivery to site
Location of the Works
All materials will be delivered to Mildura, Victoria.

Tender Close - 21 November 2023
Expected Award - Late December 2023
Expected Supply of Materials - All materials fabricated and delivered by mid April 2024 (Package A) and early May 2024 (Package B)
