Development Victoria is seeking responses to this Expression of Interest (EOI) for The Fox: NGV Contemporary Main Works project (Project).

The Fox: NGV Contemporary Main Works project includes:

• The construction of a new, purpose-built contemporary art gallery (10 primary storeys) for the National Gallery of Victoria, to be named The Fox: NGV Contemporary.
• The Sturt Street Reserve structure and the stair/lift to Southbank Boulevard.
• The permanent Back of House interface zones between The Fox: NGV Contemporary and NGV International.
• The streetscape along Southbank Boulevard and Kavanagh Street at ground level, including any necessary civil works.
• Associated shared services infrastructure for the MAPT precinct.

This EOI has been prepared to assess the capability of prospective bidders (Bidders) to undertake the construction, including design coordination and finalisation of the Project ahead of proceeding to the Request for Proposal stage of the procurement.

Development Victoria is also planning to host a Bidder’s briefing session in the week commencing 16 October 2023 to brief Bidders participating in this EOI on this Project.

To receive the EOI documents and attend the Briefing Session, the attached Confidentiality Deed (Deed) must be signed and returned to [email protected] together with email contact details. Once the Deed has been signed and returned, Development Victoria will release the EOI documentation via Aconex to organisations it deems to be bona fide Bidders via the email address(s) provided. Bidders will then be able to submit an EOI (Response) via Aconex, in accordance with the terms and conditions set out in the EOI documentation. Do not provide your EOI submission via the Tenders Vic website.
