Parks Victoria is seeking the services of a suitable supplier for the provision of design and construction services for the;

Yeddonba Cultural Site at Chiltern-Mt Pilot National Park (Beechworth)

The works include:

• Investigation of the current foundation arrangement, including anchor type and embedment depth.
• Structural Assessment of anchor plates, baseplate and footings.
• Finalised detailed design for the elevated walkway, staircase, and viewing platform.
• Full like-for-like replacement of all timber elements.
• Repair of baseplates and footings.
• Removal of anti-corrosion coating of steel elements and adhesion of protective coating system.
• Rectified welds in line with original “Earth Tech” drawings and AS1554.1.
• All new timber bearings installed and alignment with connection plates updated.

Procurement to progress while Cultural Heritage Permit process is ongoing, Procurement process to run from October 2023 to January. Contract to be finalised in December but extra time allowed for December holiday closure and delegate availability. Construction cannot begin until all permits have been acquired.
