The Victorian Health Building Authority (VHBA) is intending to engage an Equipment Adviser to provide advisory services in relation to all Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment (Equipment Advisory Services) for the Casey Hospital Emergency Department Expansion Project (Project). 

As part of the 2022-23 State Budget, the Victorian Government committed to expand the Casey Hospital Emergency Department through the ‘Building emergency departments kids and families can count on’ initiative.

The Project is being led by VHBA, in partnership with Monash Health.

It is intended that the ED Expansion Project will be procured as a modification to the existing Public Private Partnership arrangements in place at Casey Hospital, subject to value for money being achieved.
