Homes Victoria is intending to release an Expression of Interest in September 2023 and subsequent Request for Tender for a contractor to undertake water main upgrade services to increase network capacity in Melbourne’s inner-east 

To tender for the works, contractors must hold accreditation from Greater Western Water.

Contract award is expected in Q4 2023.

The Government’s Local Jobs First policy (ICN) and Social Procurement Framework may apply to this procurement. Tender participants may need to complete a Local Industry Development Plan (LIDP) as part of Local Jobs First requirements.  The Major Project Skills Guarantee (MPSG) and Apprenticeships Victoria requirements may also apply to this procurement.  These commitments may need to be included within the LIDP. 
 
The Government’s Fair Jobs Code Plan may apply to this procurement and tender participants will need to hold a Pre-Assessment Certificate at the time of Tender submission.
