The Department of Health is seeking to establish a panel of suitably qualified and experienced parties to undertake data integrity audits of activity data reported to the department by Victorian public health services and funded agencies, under a Standing Offer arrangement.

The Department is also seeking experienced parties to undertake audits of patient reported data in each of the Victorian Emergency Minimum Dataset (VEMD), Elective Surgery Information System (ESIS), Victorian Admitted Subacute Care data, Specialist Outpatients Clinics (VINAH) dataset and Victorian Cost Data Collection (VCDC).

In addition, the department may, from time to time, require other data integrity audits relating to other datasets or data reporting activities conducted at health services or other bodies funded by the department to provide services. The department will select suitable parties from the provider panel based on the responses to the evaluation criteria contained in this RFT.

All audits are based on samples of patient/client records, validation of specified administrative data and process and procedural reviews and evaluations at health services and funded agencies.
