Description

Coliban Water provides forward notice of tender for the Provision of Services for the design and construction of sewer network upgrades throughout its region in North-Central Victoria. The scope of works will include the design and construction of new gravity sewer trunk mains, rising mains and sewer pump stations that will lead to large-scale improvements across Coliban Water’s sewer networks.  This will include a program to increase the capacity of Bendigo's gravity sewer trunk mains, in order to meet current and future demands in the region.

The works are planned to take place in the next regulatory period, from 2023 to 2028. Location of thr works will be Coliban Water Region.

The procurement delivery model will be a traditional partnering, Standing Arrangement with individual Design and Construct packages being issued under the Standing Arrangement. The procurement process will utilise a two-stage process comprising an initial Request for Expressions of Interest (EOI), from which shortlisted parties may be invited to participate in a competitive Request for Tender.

Note that Local Jobs First and Social Procurement requirements will form part of this tender.

Coliban Water's value-for-money considerations are not solely focussed on price, but encompass opportunities to deliver social and sustainable outcomes that benefit the Victorian community, in alignment with the Victorian Government’s Social Procurement Framework. We encourage organisations that contribute socially and economically to our community to get involved in our tendering and quotation processes, so that we can add value that all of our community can share in.
