North East Water intends to remediate the concrete surface of the 9.1 ML Wangaratta Ground Level Clear Water Storage, located on Kerr Street in Wangaratta. The integrity of the storage currently causes unacceptable water losses due to failed joint seals and increasingly porous concrete. North East Water has determined the most effective course of remediation will be the installation of a protective coating system to both the internal and external surfaces of the storage. The works will be required to be completed in a limited timeframe during the low water demand in winter months.
