GWW has the requirement for the following services to ensure its assets/systems continue to perform and operate as required. The objective of the Corrosion Management Program is to put in place a program of works that will maintain the integrity of Greater Western Water assets and realise the full value and useful life of those assets.

It is proposed to cathodically protect MSCL pipelines if practically achievable and economically justifiable. It is proposed to install, operate and maintain these facilities in accordance with relevant Australian Standards and specifications.
