Description
Purpose
- Review and update the seabird and waterfowl individual species protocols and procedures to align with international best practices and standards for wildlife healthcare and rehabilitation (Attachment 2).
- Create individual species procedures and protocols for seabirds and waterfowl that are current with international best practices and standards for wildlife healthcare and rehabilitation, which the Nature Parks cannot provide due to a lack of written procedures.
- Provide updated information for gaps in the Little Penguin rehabilitation and healthcare procedures and protocols to ensure alignment with international best practices and standards.
- As per the Nature Parks graphic design requirements, compile and develop an e-booklet containing all the identified species protocols and procedures.
- Ensure that staff at Nature Parks and/or other key wildlife rehabilitation partners are trained and inducted on the updated written procedures (online or in person).
