The Australian Grand Prix Corporation (AGPC) is intending to release a Request for Tender (RFT) in May 2023 and is seeking Expressions of Interest concerning the Diesel Generators and Light Towers contract for future Formula 1® Australian Grand Prix events, to be held at Albert Park, Melbourne (Site) from 2024 onwards.

The following document provides additional information regarding the contract requirements.
Diesel Generators and Light Towers provide temporary power and lighting for the Event, to supplement the existing permanent power and lighting infrastructure.

The supply of this infrastructure includes:
• Approximately 180 x Generators, ranging from 10kVA – 1000kva;
• Approximately 80 x Light Towers;
• 1 x 1000kVA Load Bank; and
• 2 x 7-10 bar 364 cfm Diesel Generator Air Compressors.
The Formula 1® Australian Grand Prix event is held over a four day period, typically in March/April each year.

Construction of infrastructure to facilitate the Event is carried out over an 8-12 week build period in accordance with a strict Construction Programme, with dismantle beginning immediately following the Event. Full dismantle is required within three weeks of the Event.
