Project Summary

The Victorian School Building Authority is intending to release a Request for Tender in April 2023 for construction works at the former Wanganui Park Secondary School site at 1-19 Parkside Drive, Shepparton 3630.

The project will include refurbishment of four of the vacant blocks on the site into the administration, junior school, and Early Education Unit of the Verney Road School. 

To support the refurbishment works, the project will also include asbestos removal, tree removal, demolition works, service upgrades, landscaping and external works including new carparking and new transport entrance.

All respondents will need to have a current CSR Registration under the category New Commercial Construction Prequalification level amount no less than $20,000,000

A separate Request for Tender (RFT) will be issued. It is expected that approximately four tenderers will be invited. The VSBA will decide on which firms are to be invited to submit a tender, based on the firm’s experience, capability, and capacity to undertake the work in the required timeframe, and past performance.
