Homes Victoria is intending to release a Request for Tender in May 2023 for a Relevant Building Surveyor Consultant to undertake building surveyor works associated with social and affordable rental apartment buildings for individuals and families. 

The proposal will provide in the order of 120 new homes within the medium rise residential development in metropolitan Melbourne on existing land owned by the Director of Housing. The development must comply with BADS and all other applicable planning requirements.

This will be a select tender process called from pre-qualified Consultants on the Construction Supplier Register (CSR).

Contract award is expected in Quarter 3 2023.

The Government’s Local Jobs First policy (ICN) and Social Procurement Framework apply to this procurement. Tender participants will need to complete a Local Industry Development Plan (LIDP) as part of Local Jobs First requirements.  The Major Project Skills Guarantee (MPSG) and Apprenticeships Victoria requirements also apply to this procurement.  These commitments will need to be included within the LIDP.
