Goulburn Valley Water Contractors who tender for work with a total of $100k or more will be required to have a third party certified safety system  eg AS/NZS 4801:2001

The Contract is based on the need for Goulburn Valley Water to successfully deliver a Water Main Renewal Program.

At the commencement of the Contract Terms Agreement, Goulburn Valley Water will supply to the Contractor a list of water main renewals for that year. The list of projects will be in order of priority as determined by the Superintendent. The Contractor will be required to program works to clearly demonstrate that all projects allocated for replacement will be completed within the one year period.

It is highlighted that the list of projects is only provided for the Contractor to program the works. Each project requires an individual Renewal Works Order to be entered into by both parties and the Contractor is not permitted to begin work on any project until direction is given to commence from the Superintendent.
