GWMWater will soon be seeking tenders for the construction of the Green Hill Lake Trunk Gravity Sewer in Ararat.

The works will consists of approximately:

• 610m of DN225 Sewer Main ranging from 7m depth to 3.5m depth (installation method likely to include micro tunnelling but is subject to detailed design currently being undertaken);
• 11 manholes;
• Dewatering of works
• Connection to existing Sewer Pump Station (approximately 7m depth);
• Connection to existing manhole (approximately 3.5m depth);

GWMWater is intending to release a Request for Tender to engage a contractor to undertake the works with completion by August 2023.

Attendance of the compulsory site meeting will be a pre-requisite to submitting a conforming tender. Site meeting date to be announced in the tender documents.

This will be a public Request for Tender, available on the Buying For Victoria website. The tender package will be advertised late February 2023 (pending internal approvals).   

GWMWater will be seeking proposals from suitably qualified contractors that can construct the pipeline in accordance with the project specification.

To ensure a fair process, GWMWater will not be responding to enquiries for this Request for Tender until it is publicly released to market.
