The Department of Government Services (DGS) is intending to release a Request for Information (RFI) in January 2023 for Travel Management Services to Victorian Government. 

The aim of this RFI will be to develop an understanding of the travel supplier market, range of solutions available, and determine the scope, strategy and requirements of the potential future State Purchase Contract (SPC). An SPC is a centralised government contract used by all Victorian Government departments, agencies and other public entities bound by the Victorian Government Purchasing Board (VGPB) Procurement Policies.

The RFI process is a stand-alone process that will assist in better understanding the industry and related services that are available in the market. A subsequent procurement process may follow the RFI. 

Suppliers of all types of travel products are invited to respond to this RFI, including, but not limited to, travel management companies, online booking tool companies, global distribution system companies, travel agents, accommodtion providers, airlines, vehicle hire companies.  

The closing date of this advanced notice is the estimated date of release of the RFI.
