Description

All Goulburn Valley Water Contractors who tender for work with a total of 100k or more will be required to have a third party certified safety system e.g. AS/NZS 4801:2001

Goulburn Valley Water will be seeking suitably qualified contractors to undertake the below contracted activities across their operations area.

Tender Description
Program contract for the replacement services for a minimum of three years, with the provision of review in the third (and possibly fourth) year. The reviews can result in the ability to extend the contract twice for one year each time i.e. a total of an additional two years and a maximum program term of five years i.e. a 3 + 1 + 1 type arrangemet. All engineering and management activities related to the design, construction and replacement of ageing, predominantly sewage (but also water and irrigation), pump station switchboards across all GVW service regions. This includes replacing existing switchboards to meet industry and GVW safety and technical standards and all associated civil (e.g. plinths conduits), mechanical (e.g. vent stacks), electrical (e.g. switchboard, power supplies) and instrumentation (e.g. level controllers) works. A list of switchboards to be replaced and the initial scope of those works will be provided at the start of each financial year. Each site will be created as a seperable portion with each based on a schedule of rates.
