The scope of this request is for the design, construction, supply and commissioning of three (3) new cremators and a rebuild of one (1) cremator including new flue system at Fawkner Memorial Park.

The new cremators will be required to fit in the current location of the cremators to align with the structural flooring to account for point loads.

The cremators are to include:

• High Volume cremation furnaces capable of handling a minimum six (6) cremations in a standard 8hr shift as well as 24/7 operation for disaster scenarios.
• Charging bier/auto loading system including floor rails if applicable, weight loaded to a minimum weight of 300kg. Including additional transfer trolleys if required.
• Fully automated control systems with online monitoring.
• Individual emergency shut down per cremator.
• Upright flue system (including flashings) with capability for filtration and data capture.
• New cremators minimum 30year design life, rebuild minimum 10year design life
• Options for alternate or dual fuel sources.
• Options for Cremulator, Ash transfer cabinets and heat capture technology.

It is expected that the Tenderer will:

• supply, install and commission,

• meet GMCT quality and OHS standards,
• meet Australian quality standards,
• handover documentation including, risk assessment, manuals, SOP’s,
• provide user training,
• provide as built drawings, and
• meet agreed delivery dates.
