Advanced Tender Notice – EOI Ballarat Intermodal  (Management of Terminal)

VicTrack would like to update potential Tenderers with advice that an Expression of Interest will be released to the market in December 2022 relating to the Management to operate a Rail Intermodal Terminal in Ballarat. The terminal is to be constructed in partnership with Development Victoria and the Commonwealth Government with construction commencing mid 2023 and completion by 2024

The Management Agreement will include though not limited to:

• Market, develop and manage the Ballarat Intermodal Area
• Provide terminal management services
• Provision of freight handling and management of the Ballarat Intermodal
• Provide Multi-User Rail intermodal terminal Services

The tender documents will be accessible via Buying for Victoria only.

Tenderers are advised that pre-qualification through VicTrack's compliance partner, Avetta, is a pre-requisite for the final contract execution.  Costs associated with this registration may be included in the tender submission for any potential supplier not currently pre-qualified.
