Description

Forward Notice The Department of Jobs, Precincts and Regions is intending to release an open tender in October 2022 for the Melbourne Museum Cladding Replacement works at The Melbourne Museum. The Melbourne Museum facility is located at 11 Nicholson St, Carlton, Victoria 3053.

NOTE: This forward notice is released to the open market as per Ministerial Directions requirements.

A brief description of the procurement including the extent of the Works or Construction Services required.

A Head Building Contractor will be required to remove combustible Aluminium Composite Panels and replace them with a specified and scoped non-combustible panel.

A suitably qualified Construction team and sub-contractors, experienced in building cladding replacement works.

 

The Head Building Contractor is required to prior to submission have the following and maintain the following throughout the term of the contract:

 

  • commercial builder registration.
  • electrical contractor registration; and
  • must be registered on the Victorian Government Department of Treasury and Finance (DTF) Construction Service Register (CSR).
