The water supply responsibilities of North East Water (NEW) include the operation of the Wangaratta, Wodonga and Yarrawonga potable water supply systems. To improve the supply to these towns several watermains are to be renewed. The watermains are as follows:

• Gordon Street, Wodonga - 383m of 100mm
• Bank Street, Wodonga - 250m of 100mm
• Lawrence Street, Wodonga - 300m of 150mm
• Parfitt Road, Wangaratta - 600m of 150mm
• Orr Street, Yarrawonga - 125m of 150mm

As a result North East Water is seeking suitably qualified contractors to construct the proposed watermains throughout these towns. The works will be delivered under a design and construct contract.
North East Water has completed a preliminary design that should be viewed as indicative only, this will be issued as part of an RfT to the open market seeking to engage a Principal Contractor.
