Coliban Water seeks to gain a more detailed understanding of the supplier market and range of solutions that may be available to meet its emissions objectives for the development of either:

        Option A: a carbon sequestration project capable of creating Carbon Offsets eligible under the Climate Active Carbon Neutral Standard; or
        Option B: a large-scale renewable energy project eligible or accredited by the CER., capable of generating Large Scale Renewable Certificates (LGCs)

The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to;

       (a)    Inform the market of Coliban Water's proposed intention to enter into long-term supply agreement to meet its emissions objectives and the opportunities it presents for carbon and renewable energy project                 developers

       (b)    Provide an overview of the key requirements associated with a carbon project or a renewable energy project;

       (c)    Outline a procurement process, including an indicative timetable; and

       (d)    Invite information from suppliers to establish a basis on which Coliban Water may proceed to a formal Request for Tender (RFT).
