The Country Fire Authority (CFA) is intending to release an Open Tender for the construction works to upgrade the existing Chirnside Park Fire Station on the existing site at 79 Edward Road, CHIRNSIDE PARK VIC 3116.

The proposed new Volunteer Fire Station will consist of the following:

• 2 No. Motor Room bay to house a fire truck or similar appliances.
• The Amenities wing to comprise a Brigade Offices, Multipurpose Room including kitchen, Comms, Breathing Apparatus (BA) & Drying room, Laundry, Change room, Cleaners, Toilet facilities, Turn-Out room, Workshop and Store.
• Building services to suit the fire station; and
• Site works comprising, driveway, pavements, parking areas, Fencing, and landscaping.

Demolition and Construction works is targeted to commence approximately October 2022 and to be completed approximately by March 2023.

Compliance with Occupational Health and Safety, and Industrial Relations Management are mandatory requirements.
