Overview of requirements

Gippsland Water is seeking to implement a new Finance Management System (FMS) to replace the current Great Plains and Workplace systems.  Currently in Great Plains we use the General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets and Inventory modules.  We also use Workplace as our purchasing system (decentralised, with approximately 200 users) which includes an extensive Instrument of Delegation process for approving purchase orders. 

We are looking for a new FMS that includes best practices as well as emerging technology or a roadmap outlining future technologies to be included in the solution. 

We are also looking for a system that can seamlessly integrate with our existing systems (eg. Micropay, Asset Management and Billing Systems (Infor), and Project Management (SharePoint & MS Project)).

A detailed functional and non-functional specification spreadsheet has been developed for mandatory completion by invitees in addition to Part C Invitee's Response. This is a mandatory document that must be included in your response to this EOI and is located as an attachment to this EOI.

RESPONDENTS MUST provide a single PDF document for the Invitee’s Part C response, and include an editable Excel and WORD version, all virus scanned prior to submission. Do not provide zip files.
