Project Summary

The Victorian School Building Authority is intending to release a Request for Tender in June 2022 for the refurbishment of the main classroom/Administration block including the Entry and Administration areas, the classrooms, a new accessible path from the street entry to the school buildings, new decking, and a minor refurbishment to existing modular building, and including construction of a new toilet block, and associated landscaping at Currawa Primary School located at Dookie College, 2 Ridge Rd, Dookie College VIC 3647

The project will include demolition of some areas of the Classroom/Administration building, asbestos removal, demolition of the existing toilet block and existing paths and some landscaping.

The project will require careful staging to allow the school to continue functioning throughout the construction period.

The email subject heading should be clearly marked 'ATN CPS 3907 (2)  for Victorian School Building Authority' 

All respondents will need to have a current CSR Registration under the category New Commercial Construction Prequalification level amount no less than $1,500,000. 

A separate Request for Tender (RFT) will be issued. It is expected that approximately four tenderers will be invited. The VSBA will make a decision on which firms are to be invited to submit a tender, based on the firm’s experience, capability and capacity to undertake the work in the required timeframe, and past performance.

The Victorian School Building Authority reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to directly approach CSR registered entities under the above mentioned prequalification category to invite them to express interest in tendering for this project in the event that inappropriate and/or insufficient interest is received from parties by the date of closing of responses to this Advance Tender Notice
