The Victorian School Building Authority is intending to release a Request for Tender in May 2022 for the new build and upgrade works at John Fawkner Secondary College located at 51 Jukes Road Fawkner VIC 3060 to upgrade and modernise the school.

The project will include a new Science & Visual Arts Building Block and a new Food Technology Block. The project will also require upgrade of services, demolition of Blocks E, H and science block, landscaping works, minor refurbishment works, as well as resurfacing and make good works where Blocks E, H & the Science Block have been demolished.

All respondents will need to have a current CSR Registration under the category New Commercial Construction Prequalification level amount no less than $10,000,000

A separate Request for Tender (RFT) will be issued. It is expected that approximately four tenderers will be invited. The VSBA will make a decision on which firms are to be invited to submit a tender, based on the firm’s experience, capability and capacity to undertake the work in the required timeframe, and past performance.
