Development Victoria is seeking responses to a Request for Expression of Interest (EOI) to engage a Contractor to deliver the Melbourne Arts Precinct Transformation (MAPT), Northern Package (Project).

MAPT Northern Package Scope 

The Northern Package comprises of the following elements:

• Within Arts Centre Melbourne (ACM) Theatres Building: extension of the tanked basement (4 storeys), new loading dock / truck lifts, new back-of-house rooms, and Security Centre.
• Theatre renewal works, plant room upgrades, and repairs to sections of ACM’s cathodic protection system.
• The northern end of the Public Realm structure (north of Kavanagh Street) above Sturt Street.
• Shared services infrastructure within the project area for the MAPT precinct. 

Development Victoria will complete the procurement via an Open EOI followed by a tender process for invited shortlisted Bidders. The tender process may involve multiple stages. The works will be contracted under a Managing Contractor or Design & Construct contract.

Please note that Addendum No.1 was uploaded to the Buying for Victoria tender portal on the 8/12/21, which advised that the briefing and site walk has been changed to the 20 December 2021 from 10:30am to 12:00pm. Bidders that registered by the nominated date have also been contacted via email with the required attendance information.
