In 2021, South West Healthcare (SWH) received Victorian State Government total funding of $2,330,000 to design, construct and fit out a new community mental health facility in Hamilton under the Regional Health Infrastructure Fund. 

As part of the funding process, SWH is required to complete the project construction phase and have the Hamilton Mental Health Service operational by March 2023.

In accordance with the requirements of this RFT, SWH invites tenders for the provision of Architectural Design & Project Management Services (‘the Services’) to:

1. design the new facility
2. prepare tender documentation for a subsequent construction tender
3. undertake PM services and the role of Superintendent during the construction phase

The Industry Capability Network Victoria (ICN) has completed the contestability assessment for this tender and South West Healthcare has been advised that all tenderers are to complete a Local Industry Development Plan (LIDP) and submit a LIDP with ICN as part of the tender.
