The Corangamite CMA is the Responsible Authority for management of the recreational use of the Barwon River, and adjoining lands, for the reach of the river that passes through the City of Geelong. 

The Authority levies fees, user charges and prices for various service provisions within the study area.

This Project involves a review of the fees, user charges and prices arrangements that apply to this reach of the river and the development of an approach to fees and charges that follows the State Government Victoria - Department of Treasury and Finance, “Pricing for Value” guide.


It is expected that the review is completed by December 20 2021.
