The department is seeking suitably qualified and experienced contractors to provide contaminated waste services (sharps collection and disposal) to high rise public housing estates in Melbourne.

The intent of this contract is to ensure that a clean and hygienic environment exists for the people who live on and visit the estates. The Specification is for the provision of site inspections, collection, disposal and reporting of syringes on housing estates and various properties. The estates and properties comprise of town houses, high-rise, single storey flats, walk-up flats and dual occupancy units, which the Department of Health and Human Services has the responsibility to maintain.
