Description:

The objective of the engagement is to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced Security Consultant that represents the State’s interests and works to ensure that the security elements of the CRPP are completed to the expected standards.

Work may include:

• Attend the site on monthly basis or as otherwise directed
• Inspect and verify engineering works.
• Review and provide expert advice on documentation which has been submitted by the MC as required.
• Provide expert advice in relation to subcontractor variations and other security matters as required
• Ensure compliance and review inspection and test plans.
• Identify non-conformance issues and advise on suitable rectification prior to the work being built.
• Be available to attend site during hold points,
• Commissioning and witness testing to confirm satisfactory function and completion of relevant system
• Provide monthly report to the department in the progression of security services work including

• Compliance of the installation works with the design intent Non-conformance of any corrective actions The report must be submitted in an approved format prior to the first report. Provide technical advice on equipment or alternatives including any value management requirements in relation to the security scope of works Provide technical advice during the commissioning and operational readiness phase Attend all meetings and provide expert advice as required.

Works will be delivered at the Chisholm Road Prison Project – 5 – 75 Chisholm Road, Lara, 3212

Tender process: Request for Quote (RFQ).

Supplier prequalification: prequalification on the SEPC - Security Advisory Panel – Security Project Delivery Services. 

Must be able to demonstrate extensive experience in the implementation and commissioning of security management systems on comparable projects; including working with stakeholders to ensure the security management system meets operational requirements. Suitably qualified, experienced and available personnel.
