Description

Major Road Projects Victoria (MRPV) is a dedicated government body charged with planning and delivering major road projects in Victoria. MRPV is a division of the Major Transport Infrastructure Authority (MTIA), an administrative office in relation to the Department of Transport.

MRPV is seeking to establish a construction supplier panel of construction contractors to deliver MRPV projects over a five (5) year term plus a five (5) year extension option (MRPV Construction Panel).

The tender process also provides respondents the opportunity to submit proposals for the first four (4) projects to be engaged through the MRPV Construction Panel (Tranche 1a Projects).

The request for proposal for the MRPV Construction Panel and Tranche 1a Projects (RFP), Part A - General Information and Proposal Requirements is published here at https://www.tenders.vic.gov.au.  The full RFP is published in the Electronic Data Room (EDR) established by MRPV for this tender process.

In order to be eligible to respond to this RFP and to be allocated to the Panel, respondents must satisfy the prequalification requirements set out in section 1.7 of the RFP, Part A.

MRPV will host an RFP briefing on 30 July 2020 to which attendance is optional.  Further information will be provided in coming days to interested parties registered and granted access in the EDR.

All communications in relation to this RFP will be managed through the Tender Manager via the EDR. Proposals are only required to be submitted electronically through the EDR.

To ensure that interested parties can access and are kept up-to-date with information on this RFP, interested parties must request access to the EDR by completing the EDR User Access Request Form nominating at least three (3) initial users, and sending the completed form to MRPV.ProgramApproach@roadprojects.vic.gov.au. Access can be requested for subsequent additional users via the EDR.

The nominated user(s) of the interested party should add the following email address to their contacts list to ensure that any relevant correspondence is not treated as spam or junk email:noreply@notifications.ansarada.com.

MRPV may refuse access to the EDR and the full RFP to an interested party who, having regard to the pre-qualification requirements set out in section 1.7 of the RFP, Part A, MRPV does not consider to be a genuine prospective respondent.

The RFP requires submission of Proposals in two (2) stages. The closing time and date for Submission 1 is 2pm on 13 August 2020 and the closing time and date for Submission 2 is 2pm on 31 August 2020.  Post tender negotiations may be conducted.

Any general enquiries or issues in relation to this process should be addressed to the Tender Manager at MRPV.ProgramApproach@roadprojects.vic.gov.au

Please note that the Tenders Vic website will only be used to issue this RFP, Part A and will not be used to manage communications during the RFP process.
