The Victorian Murray Floodplain Restoration Project (‘VMFRP’) is a program of works comprising nine separate floodplain watering projects which aim to protect and enhance the ecological and heritage values of the floodplain at a landscape level.
Lower Murray Water intends to release a public tender to engage a panel of environmental and planning consultants. Successful panel members will bid to prepare and coordinate all required environmental and planning approvals for a package of sites.
There are nine sites. Each site is currently being referred under the Environment Effects Act 1978 and the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999. LMW expects each site will require further assessment under both Acts.
LMW will be hosting a pre-tender briefing session on Thursday 30th July at 2pm.
Consultants are encouraged to register for this event by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org by COB Wednesday, 29th July. Zoom meeting details will be provided in response.
Following the pre-tender briefing session held on Thurs, 30 July - a copy of the presentation is provided.
