The Victorian School Building Authority (VSBA) is issuing an Advance Tender Notice intended to:
inform the market of upcoming VSBA projects and the proposed delivery structure for these projects;
outline the anticipated procurement process and indicative timetables for the projects;
invite market participants to identify their preference for tendering packages; and
- seek industry advice that should be considered in the scoping and delivery requirements for the RFT documents.
This Advance Tender Notice relates to a number of projects involving the design and construction, or construction only, of new schools, and expansion and modernisation of existing schools. These projects include multiple new schools proposed to be bundled into Design and Construct contracts as well as individual projects of varying value. The majority of these projects are intended to be complete for the commencement of the 2022 school year.
The VSBA is seeking registrations of interest from Construction Supplier Register (CSR) prequalified contractors demonstrating experience and capability in performing the role of Design and Construct Contractor (or Construct Only Contractor as applicable) for the design completion (where applicable), documentation, construction, commissioning and completion of these projects.
Refer to the attached document for further information.
Please note this Advance Tender Notice pertains to upcoming tenders for building works. The VSBA are seeking to appoint head contractors under either Design & Construct or Construct Only contract models. Registrations of interest for the provision of architectural, project management or other construction consultancy services are not sought in response to this Advance Tender Notice.
Construction Supplier Register prequalified consultants should register with the VSBA's Technical Advisory Panel (TAP) supplier panel in order to be considered for VSBA consultancy engagements. For further information on the TAP please contact email@example.com
