Consultant services are being procured for a principal consultant to deliver the following:

  • Strategic Functional Brief and Schedules of Accommodation for Craigieburn, Sunbury and Phillip Island community hospitals.
  • Master plan and feasibility studies for Craigieburn, Sunbury and Phillip Island community hospitals.
  • Preparation of concept template designs (up to 5) for all remaining community hospitals that are able to be made site specific.
  • Undertake further yield studies to assist in the site selection and acquisition of proposed new community hospitals in Cranbourne, Torquay, Pakenham, City of Whittlesea, Eltham, Point Cook and Fisherman’s Bend.
  • Assistance in the preparation of a Business Case – This may be in the form of providing advice and supplemental information. The principal consultant will not be responsible for the development of the business case.

The principal consultant will be responsible for and engage all sub-consultants necessary to complete the required activities above and respond to any capital related enquiries throughout the engagement.

The principal consultant will also be required to provide overall coordination and project management of these services (both standard and non-standard services).

All nominated consultants for architecture, building and engineering services must be registered on the Construction Supply Register under the appropriate categories.

A QS will be appointed separately by VHHSBA.
