This Request for Tender is for the civil works component of the redevelopment of the greyhound racing facilities at Glenview Park racing complex, McNairn Road, Traralgon.

Traralgon Greyhound Racing Club (TGRC) currently races at Glenview Park on a shared basis with Latrobe Valley Racing Club (LVRC) Thoroughbred Horse Racing. This project will see the existing greyhound track re-constructed with various ancillary works, construction of a new events centre and formal car parking adjacent the existing greyhound kennels and administration building.

The redevelopment works in this Contract include the demolition of the existing track and associated facilities, construction of the new track including drainage, associated civil works involved in the new racing facilities, earthworks, water supply, irrigation facilities, sewer, electrical and communications works.

A separate tender will be issued for the construction of the pavilion and associated works.

Tenderers must attend the compulsory site visit scheduled for Monday, 24 March 2014 at 10am. Failure to attend the site briefing will result in your offer being ineligible for further consideration. A register of attendees will be maintained for the compulsory site briefing session. In order for your offer to be considered valid, Respondents must register under the same company name that they intend to submit their offer.  RSVP to [email protected] by 2 pm on Friday, 21 March 2014.
