Southern Rural Water conducted an open Request for Tender (RFT) process, seeking submissions from suitable qualified and experienced contractors to undertake construction of irrigation upgrades as the first stage in the MID2030 Phase 2 Irrigation Upgrades program of works.
The works under contract included:
* Construction of approximately 2.3km of pipeline in West Boisdale
* Upgrading of 3 regulators in the Main Northern Channel
* Replacement of existing Dethridge wheel meters with modernised outlets throughout the network
